With a solid background of performances in SE Asia in 2005 and 2006, Co-Opera is currently exploring invitations to present La Traviata in Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur in June or September 2008, Die Fledermaus in Kuala Lumpur , Penang and Singapore in November also in 2008 and The Magic Flute at the Hessischestaatstheater in the Maifestspiele in Wiesbaden in 2009.

As plans become clear, you can find out the latest by subscribing to The Friends of Co-Opera and receiving updates in the Newsletters. Already several Friends have their names recorded as accompanying “groupies” for the German/Swiss performances in 2009. A select few may be honoured to be asked to iron costumes for the odd passing prima donna. Or not!
