It is only 18 months since the formation of the Friends of Co-Opera.
Under the chairmanship of Libby Ellis, already membership has reached over 250 and the organisation has an impressive list of events which have supported Co-Opera in various ways, particularly financial and in providing more performance platforms for Adelaide's emerging professional artists. Membership provides a pathway for the general public to enjoy a wide range of musical offerings in the happy company of likeminded people. The Friends have developed another program of interesting events for 2006.
